My name is Amanda, and this would be my first attempt at a weekly blog! I'm currently in my very last semester in the PMBA program at the University of Memphis. I'm currently working by day as a Sales and Marketing Finance Manager for a ServiceMaster brand, and by night (well, evening and nights) working as the Queen of the Magnuson clan. The four year old girl child keeps us busy with her arts and crafts, reading skills and relentless need to run, while the ten year old boy child keeps us intrigued with his Lego building designs, magic skills and chemistry tinkering's. It's a busy life....
Throughout my career I've worked in several industries, varying from medical to product engines and now most recently a service driven industry. One of my greatest experiences was working for Nike at WHQ in Beaverton, OR. I will be digging into the world of Nike and all that it entails throughout this semester. I'll highlight highs and lows of being the industry leader.
